1. Sweet Potato

The beta-carotene in this sweet delight converts to Vitamin A. Vitamin A is necessary for all cell growth, including hair growth. So when you feel guilty for sneaking in those carbs, remember that it does wonders for the hair – oven/boiled sweet potato is a healthier option.
2. Kale

Slows aging, prevents cancer, and still gives you gorgeous flowing hair - what more could you ask for from one vegetable. GO ADD THIS TO YOUR DIET PEOPLE.
3. Salmon

This fish is loaded with Vitamin D and protein; it also contains omega-3 fatty acids that promote hair growth by keeping your scalp healthy. Healthy scalp = Healthy hair.
4. Avocado

This age old beauty secret never gets old. So if you have not tried this yet, KimRuby urges you to. Apply to the hair and scalp because avocados have the added ability to stimulate collagen and elastin production.
Mix a little avocado with sour cream (sour cream with lactic acid helps exfoliate dead skin and clean up buildup on the scalp) and apply to your hair and scalp for about ten minutes before washing it off. It’s great for hair and skin.
5. Eggs

Add more omega-3s in your diet with eggs. They also contain biotin (if you’ve tried to grow your hair before now then you’ve heard of biotin and its magical qualities). However, it’s not the egg white that will make your hair long and beautiful, it’s the yolk.
Take note: Eating too many egg whites can actually block the absorption of biotin into the body, therefore depleting the nutrient you can get out of it.
6. Nuts

Biotin rich love comes in all kinds of nuts. Nuts will make your hair grow faster and thicker due to their high biotin content. Whether its almond or pecan nuts, one cup contains nearly one-third of your daily requirement. Give it a month or two to see results. If the nuts are too boring on their own, add a few slices of banana or eat it on toast.
7. Yellow Peppers

Did you know that yellow bell peppers have nearly five and a half times more vitamin C than oranges (278 milligrams more)? Vitamin C is an antioxidant that strengthens the hair shaft and hair follicles, as well as prevents breakage. Enough said.
But remember that too much of a good thing can also be a bad thing. Have fun trying these out!!
