10. Khloe Kardashian
The reality star was once curvier. In fact her new slender figure was met with mixed reactions, some loved it and some did not. Khloe owed her weight loss to training five days a week with trainer, Gunnar Peterson. During the time, she allegedly drank plenty of water to counter her appetite. Khloe spoke to People magazine about her experience of controlled eating, “I kind of eat what I want, but in portion control, which I never knew before. It’s really hard. You have to train your body to eat less. Your eyes are bigger than your stomach.”

9. Monique Angela Hicks
Mo'Nique, is an American comedienne and actress. Mo'Nique's huge international break came with her performance in the independent movie Precious (2009), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Monique has lost over 82 pounds, exercise was key to her transformation. In an interview she said, "... 50 sit-ups every night for 30 days. 1 glass of juice per day the rest all water. Try to get a pedometor, 10,000 steps a day.”

8. Jerry Ferrara
If you've seen Entourage then you know Jerry. Jerry Ferrara went through a major weight loss right in front our eyes. He diligently stuck to his workout regime during the latter seasons of Entourage. The man dropped 50 pounds, he admitted to substituting burgers and fries for tofu, fresh vegetables, and fruit.

7. Chris Pratt
With successive releases of two blockbusters movies, Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World, Chris Pratt is deffinitely making his mark. In order to prepare for his role in Jurassic World, the actor was obligated to lose 60 pounds. This was made possible because of his commitment to a strict diet plan, when he retained his six-pack abs, Chris famously posted a shirtless selfie and captioned it, “Six months no beer.#GOTG Kinda douchy to post this but my brother made me.” It took a long time for Chris to reach his goal and he has the right to post as many shirtless selfies as he desires.

6. Jonah Hill
In order to prepare for his role in 21 Jump Street, Jonah Hill committed to losing 40 pounds. He achieved his target with proper exercise, diet, and plenty of Japanese food. Speaking candidly about his weight in an interview, the comedy genius admitted that beer is his Kryptonite.
Note: Alcohol consumption plays as much a role in weight gain as carbs.

5. Snooki
Famous for reality TV show, Jersey Shore. When we caught a glimpse of Snooki after the birth of her first child, we were shocked. The woman had shed around 50 pounds, turning almost completely unrecognisable. She credited the weight loss to her daily training program and the intake of healthy food.

4. Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer got her start on American Idol but her big break really came in the year 2005 when she joined the stellar cast for the film adaptation of the musical, Dreamgirls. She is one of the few recipients of both the coveted Academy Award and the Grammy Award. In 2010, she stunned the world with her amazing transformation. The woman lost 80 pounds and became a spokesperson for Weight Watchers in the same year.

3. Jordin Sparks
Winner of 6th season of American Idol held in year 2007. Jordin lost 50 pounds in 18 months by making her health a priority. "I never felt like I was suffering by eating less and exercising more," she says. "The key was finding exercises I enjoyed. If you don't, you won't stick with it." Whether you want to lose 10 or 50 pounds, switching things up each time you hit a plateau works, Jordin says. "Eat only when hungry," she added. If you must grab a snack, make sure its a healthy one. Jordin reduced the consumption of sugar to its lowest amount, she also stopped having late night dinners.

This Geordie Shore beauty, reality tv star Vicky Pattison knows a thing or two about getting in shape after shedding over three stone. "I work hard with a mixture of weight training and cardio. I read somewhere that if you want to look good and maintain a healthy body, you have to eat really clean, do a lot of weight training and a little bit of cardio," she said. "I lost all this weight to feel good in my clothes and be confident and be able to live my life."
"I know that I can allow myself a couple of gin and tonics at the weekend or a pizza on a Sunday if I feel like I’ve been good and worked hard for it."
