THREE YEAR OLD DIES AFTER DAD TRIED TO DROWN HER AND HER SIBLINGS IN A POND.

According to the police in North Carolina, a three year old girl who had been hospitalized in critical condition since Sunday night, when her fully submerged body was pulled from the pond by an off-duty Durham County sheriff's deputy has died.

Her father, Alan Tysheen Eugene Lassiter is currently charged with three counts of attempted murder for trying to kill the girl, her sister and their 7-year-old brother. Lassiter is jailed on a bond of $2 million and is awaiting a court hearing next month. Lassiter's 5-year-old daughter was also rescued from the pond, but luckily she was found floating and has been released from the hospital. Police also reported that the 7 year old got away from their father and ran for help.
