MAN STRUCK BY LIGHTNING WHILE PLAYING FOOTBALL

42 year old, Mallam Mohammed Jobo was killed by a thunderbolt while playing football at a police barracks football pitch during a downpour in Niger State on saturday.

The incident happened in the Sabon Titi community, in the Tunga area of Minna.

“The victim told his family members that he was going for his usual football practice at the police barracks football pitch. It was while he was on the field that thunder struck him dead,” a source told PUNCH.
