EX-MINISTER OF FINANCE OLU FALAE KIDNAPPED! ABDUCTORS DEMAND N100 MILLION

Tuesday is the deadline for payment.

Mr. Falae, who is also the national chairman of Social Democratic Party, was abducted at his Ilado Farm along Igbatoro Road, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State on Monday.

The spokesman of SDP in Ondo State, Remi Olayiwole, told PREMIUM TIMES that the gunmen stormed the farm at about 2pm on Monday shooting sporadically in the air.

“They met him in his farm at Ilado and were shooting before taking him away,” Mr. Olayiwole said.

“His wife received a phone call from the kidnappers later, and a voice was heard telling the family to bring N100 million before the end of tomorrow (Tuesday) before he will be released,” Mr. Olayiwole added.

Ondo State Police Spokesman, Wole Ogodo, refused to comment on the matter, he said he needed some time to put the facts together.
