5 WAYS TO MAKE PANCAKES

Easy to make. Just put all the ingredients in a blender to create the batter for your pancakes. Enjoy!

USA: CLASSIC PANCAKE

Fat, fluffy and dense. That's how the Americans do it.

Recipe: 225g flour + 1 tbsp baking powder + 1 tsp sugar +

pinch of salt + 2 eggs +300ml milk + 30g melted butter.

Blueberries optional. (Fry)

Finland: Pannukakku

French toast meets pancakes.

Bake at 200ºC in a greased baking tin.

Recipe: 120g flour + 200g sugar + 1 tsp baking powder +

1 tsp salt + 4 eggs + 100g melted butter + 240ml milk (Bake)

Russia: Oladi

Keep them small for ideal texture (small and thick)

Recipe: 280g flour + 2 tbsp sugar + pinch of salt + ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda +

3 eggs + 240ml sour cream + 2-3 tbsp milk + 2 tbsp melted butter. (Fry)

Italy: Farinata

This is a savoury one. If you don't like it sweet then try this recipe.

Bake at 250ºC in well-oiled preheated round skillet.

Recipe: 180g gram (chickpea) flour + 1½ tsp salt +

chopped fresh rosemary + 470ml lukewarm water + 3 tbsp olive oil. (Bake)

Austria: Kaiserschmarnn

Tip: Shred into pieces and sprinkle with sugar

halfway through cooking for a crunchy interior

Recipe: 120g flour + 50g sugar + pinch of salt + 5 eggs +

240ml milk + 2 tbsp butter + ½ tsp vanilla extract + raisins (soaked in rum for 30 min) (Fry)
