BOKO HARAMS FOOD SOURCE TAKES A BLOW

According to Military troops, 33 suspected Boko Haram accomplices were arrested with large quantities of food stuff meant for Boko Haram terrorists at Korode.
“Nine of the 33 suspects are from Korode, 5 from Auma, 10 from Geargube, 4 from Kausautaya, 4 from Bulbul and 1 from Dolomi villages," the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman said in an electronic mail on Wednesday
“Although some of the suspects claimed to be traders, they did not however deny buying and selling food items to the terrorists. Interrogation is still ongoing to further unravel the level of involvement of the suspects,” the military said in a statement signed by Col. Sani Usman.
According to Mr. Usman, troops discovered and destroyed some Improvised explosive devices planted by the Boko Haram insurgents at Sadia, along Korode Road. Some women and children who were abducted by the insurgents at Buduwa general area of Bama Local Government Area have been rescued.
